In a Tuesday posting, it was announced Eric Rigard has passed away. The posting on Facebook from Mr. Rigard’s wife can be seen above.
Rigard was a Republican candidate for the 10th Assembly California District in the June 2022 California primary election. In 2020 Rigard challenged Assemblymember Jim Cooper for the 9th California Assembly District.
While the city of Elk Grove has done a decent job of removing graffiti as it occurs, it is a game of whack-a-mole.
The push for more money is led by Councilman Darren Suen and it has most of the city council slobbering like dogs.
According to information prepared by the school district, if voters approve the bond, parcels will be assessed at $34 per $100,000 of value.
In any other situation, acceptance of cash from a death merchant or any other unacceptable behavior by an elected Democratic elected official would be harshly criticized from within the party.
