Cosumnes Community Services District hires new administrator of general services

The Cosumnes Community Services District today announced the appointment of a new member to their executive team.

Dr. Amanda Chehrezad was hired for the position of Administrator of General Services. In that capacity, Ms. Chehrezag will oversee the district’s administrative services department, which includes finance, risk management, public affairs, and information technology divisions.

Before joining the CCSD, Chehrezad was the regional director for USA Girl Scouts Overseas in Japan. In that role, she supported the shift to modernize the operating model, established strategic goals and plans, led membership efforts, and increased revenue streams.

Prior to that, Chehrezad was responsible for the strategic management of multimillion-dollar capacity-building projects for international law enforcement officials under the U.S. Department of State’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section in Mexico.

“Amanda’s multidisciplinary background has led her to tackle diverse challenges in international development and global business,” Joshua Green, General Manager of Cosumnes Community Services District, said. “Her wealth of experience and knowledge of marketing, strategic planning, policy development, budgeting, and cross-cultural stakeholder relationship management, will help us strengthen district operations as we continue to provide high-quality services through progressive innovations and organizational growth.”

Chehrezad holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Temple University, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University, Japan Campus, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis.
