Last night, the Elk Grove City Council held its eighth regular meeting of 2025. The meeting lasted three and a half hours..
Among other things, the city council approved a loan for an Old Town Elk Grove affordable housing project and the refinancing of Mello Roos bonds. Additionally, the city council conducted a lengthy discussion about renaming and rebranding the city's Old Town special planning area.
