Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen rakes in campaign cash
Singh-Allen is eying a move up the political food chain.

2024 was an outstanding year for Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen. Along with winning her record-setting third term, of equal importance, Singh-Allen had a successful fundraising year.
According to state-mandated campaign financial disclosures filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk, Singh-Allen raised $113,741. After accounting for her previous cash balance and expenses, Singh-Allen entered 2025 with $166,435.
Among Singh-Allen's significant contribution were the following:

- US Transport - $2,000
- ATT Employee PAC - $1,000
- Surinder Bindra, Sheldon Liquor - $500
- Dhahiwal Associates, Pleasanton CA - $1,000

- Grewal Transit - $1,000
- Laborers Local 185 - $2,240
- Camp Logistics - $1,000
- Operating Engineers Local 3 - $1,500
- Rainbow Restoration $1,000
- Prime Truck Repair and Wash - $1,000
- Gurshan Trucking - $1,000
- South Sac Motor Sales - $1,100
As reported earlier, Singh-Allen also accepted cash contributions from tobacco purveyors R.J. Reynold and Phillip Morris last year.
Singh-Allen is reportedly eying to challenge fellow Democrat and former city council colleague, California Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen in the June 2026 primary. Nguyen easily won a second term in November and will seek another term in 2026.
