Adult teenager was arrested and booking into the county jail.
Yesterday, the Elk Grove Police Department released a video demonstrating the effectiveness of surveillance cameras from their real-time information operation.
After receiving a call on Monday, September 30, about real-time vandalism of vehicles at the Barthlowmew Sports Park, police monitors were able to track the vehicle described by the caller. The cameras tracked the suspect's vehicle to a gas station on Kammerer Road near Highway 99.
Shortly after that, patrol vehicles stopped the suspect's vehicle. Police arrested 18-year-old Clara Covin on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
The video below displays video clip of the vehicle traveling through Elk Grove.
