Elk Grove’s public information officer admits event signs unpopular with advertisers, chore to manage

At the Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Elk Grove City Council meeting, a city official did something that rarely happens in government – admit a project has failed.

The project in question is Elk Grove’s two event signs. Public information officer Kristyn Laurence said the signs are unpopular advertising mediums and a hassle to manage.
