FBI Sacramento office seeks assistance locating victims of accused child pornographer

As part of an ongoing investigation, the FBI Sacramento field office is seeking assistance from the public to identify victims of an alleged child pornographer.

Possible victims who were asked to produce or view sexually graphic videos or photographs or engage in sexual contact with Jacob Jacobsen, 27, of Modesto, California. Victims may be located anywhere in the world and might be familiar with Jacobsen’s aliases or social media handles rather than the defendant’s name.

Jacobsen was indicted on November 17 for sexual exploitation of a child and receipt of child sex abuse material. The suspect reportedly enticed underage females to produce and transmit sexually explicit videos and photos using social media platforms.

Jacobsen often purported to be 16 or 17 years old when communicating with victims and requesting that they create and send to him sexually explicit photographs and videos. Contact may have occurred in person or through social media accounts.

The suspect is believed to use these aliases, including Jacob, Jake, James, or Trey. His social media account names include the following:

  • SnapChat username: trippinj and treydawgg2000
  • Instagram username: loudpack.sd.
