As has occurred in meetings over the last several months, Elk Grove Unified School District Trustee Nancy Chaires-Espinoza has been taken to task during public comment during non-agenda items.

During the Tuesday, September 5 meeting, a speaker who identified herself as Emelina accused Chaires-Espinoza of lying to her. The accusation centered on the participation on a school district committee called the Comprehensive Sexual Health Advisory Committee.

EGUSD's $542 million bond measure 'Yes on Measure N' committee draws $185,000 in contributions

According to information prepared by the school district, if voters approve the bond, parcels will be assessed at $34 per $100,000 of value.
