Voices of Elk Grove – Mayor lauded for visionary leadership, presented red lip sticker slippers

During the Wednesday, June 28, Elk Grove City Council meeting, Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen was lauded for her visionary leadership. As part of that expression of appreciation, the mayor was presented with a token of appreciation.

Presenting the token was the longtime Elk Grove City Council observer and smart planning advocate, Ms. Lynn Wheat. The gift presented to Singh-Allen was a pair of slippers adorned with red lips.

Although this meeting did not discuss it, Sacramento County voters rejected two STA sales tax hikes to fund several transportation projects.
