On the Monday, April 3, 2023 edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe program, there was a segment on a historic event that happened on April 3, 1973.

That event was the first commercial telephone call was made on a Motorola cell phone. The call was made to Bell Labs, an intense rival of Motorola.
