One Citrus Heights City Council race is tied
As reported last week by Elk Grove News, one Citrus Heights City Council race was separated by only nine votes.
With vote tallies released from the Sacramento County Voters Registration and Elections on Friday, November 18, that race is now tied.
District 5 candidates Porshe Middleton and Natalee Price each have 1,523 votes. Based on the countywide average voter turnout of 46 percent, there are about 900 uncounted ballots in that race.
Of significance, while there have been 3,494 ballots counted in Citrus Heights District 5, so far, there were 448 voters who did not make a selection in this race.
The next release of vote tallies is on Tuesday, November 22.
