Sacramento County Coroner seeks assistance identifying victim killed in hit and run incident
The Sacramento County Coroner’s office is seeking the public’s assistance in an unidentified man who was killed in pedestrian hit and run incident.
Just before midnight on September 27, 2022, at approximately 2337 hours, CHP reported a motor vehicle versus pedestrian hit & run on south bound Howe Ave. north of Cottage Way in Sacramento. A bag with boots was located next to the decedent.
A search of the area and the decedent’s person yielded no identification. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries.
The victim’s age is estimated to be 40–60 years of age. Race is unknown. His height and weight are 129 pounds and 63 inches tall wiht brown eyes. The decedent has short, straight gray hair (with black). There are no identifying marks, scars, or tattoos on the body.
