Singh-Allen starts 2024 Elk Grove mayoral campaign account with $126k, pays family members consulting fees
Campaign financial disclosures filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk’s office reveal Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen closed her 2022 campaign account and transferred proceeds to a new account for a 2024 mayoral campaign.
The California Form 460 showed that Singh-Allen, elected to a second two-year term in the November election, transferred $126,992 from her 2022 account, which was closed, to a new account for a 2024 mayoral campaign.
During 2022, Singh-Allen reported campaign contributions of $227,021, of which $7,898 was classified as non-monetary.
During the final reporting period between October 23 and the year-end, Singh-Allen received contributions of $22,877. The largest donations were $4,900 from the International Brotherhood of Electricians Local 340 and $2,000 from Golden State Diesel Repair.
Among her expenses, Singh-Allen paid Pablo Espinoza $12,250 for consulting services. In addition, Singh-Allen’s family members, Amir Allen and Shan Allen, respectively, received consulting payments of $1,000 and $2,750.
