Text Survey asks voters’ views on City Council District 2, Sac Board of Supervisors District 5 races

This week Elk Grove voters started receiving a text message survey asking voters about their views on Elk Grove City Council District 2 and Sacramento County Board of Supervisors District 5 candidates.

Respondents were asked about support for District 2 candidates Rod Brewer, Michelle Kile, and Felipe Martin. They were also asked about Sacramento County District 5 candidates Pat Hume and Jaclyn Moreno.

Although the survey did not reveal who sponsored the questionnaire, statements about Moreno gave it the appearance of a push poll in support of Hume.
