TV Commercial from Ashby for State Senate District 8 campaign unveiled
In a race that has been dominated by independent expenditure committee mailers and TV advertisements, today, one of the candidates for California State Senate District 8 unveiled a commercial from their campaign.
Angelique Ashby unveiled the commercial titled “My Story,” which started airing this weekend.
“I’ve spent my life delivering for families,” Ashby says in the ad. “Moving them from the streets to housing, helping women escape violence, protecting foster youth, and providing childcare for parents who need to work.”
Ashby, a Sacramento City Council member, is facing former Assemblymember and Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones. Both candidates have seen several independent committee expenditures for mailers and TV advertisements in opposition and on their behalf.
