Even though Singh-Allen has over a quarter million dollars in her campaign fund and is expected to win a record-setting third term as Elk Grove mayor, Wheat and the other candidate challenging her can affect the outcome. If Singh-Allen is reelected without a majority, it will reveal electoral weakness as she seeks higher office.
