Voices of Elk Grove – Old Town merchant calls Oak Rose project ‘poison,’ suggests AG Bonta be sued
In the first meeting of the Elk Grove City Council, after they were notified by the California Attorney General that it broke fair housing laws, several people spoke in support of the city.
One of the speakers was Allen Vito, proprietor of Old Town Elk Grove’s Bob’s Club. In a wide-encompassing commentary, Mr. Vito said he supports Mayor Bobbe Singh-Allen and the city council’s opposition to the Oak Rose supportive housing project.
