Voices of Elk Grove – Parent says Elk Grove Unified School District Trustees acted unprofessionally

During a special meeting of the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Trustees, one parent said board members acted unprofessionally.

The comments were made during the daytime meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. The comments made by a parent who identified as Heidi said three members acted inappropriately toward several parents who have characterized several books in district school libraries as pornography.

The person seen on the right side for a portion of this video is EGUSD Superintendent Christopher Hoffman. He was unable to attend the meeting as he had tested positive for COVID. Comments on this video can be posted here:

EGUSD's $542 million bond measure 'Yes on Measure N' committee draws $185,000 in contributions

According to information prepared by the school district, if voters approve the bond, parcels will be assessed at $34 per $100,000 of value.
