Voices of Sacramento County – Quoting a Southern California pastor, caller says ‘more gun control’ unneeded to curtail mass shootings
Caller says Hibbs is critical of “woke” churches
During the Tuesday, March 28, Sacramento County Board of Supervisors meeting, a call-in participant quoted Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hill [Calif]. The comments by the caller, who identified themselves as Sandy, were made during public comment on non-agenda items.
Among unattributed Sandy linked to Hibbs was criticism of “woke pastors and churches” and that gun control will not address America’s epidemic of mass shootings, many of which are perpetrated by assault weapons. Sandy was speaking in the context of the Nashville shooting that killed six, three of which were nine-year-old children.
Although not mentioned by the caller, after the Nashville shooting, Hibbs posted on his Facebook page an implication that transgender activism was responsible for mass shootings.
Hear Sandy’s entire commentary below.
Note: Caller Sandy first identified the pastor as John Hibbs and later in the video she uses Jack Hibbs.
